I bemoan the loss of the Dude .. he's so good at these Poll things

You're talking about the legendary JT. What happened to him?

Was he sent to the great archive in the sky? I hope not. I always thought he was quite good. At least he wasn't one of those sicko jealous guys.

Eeks. This had me thinking. I adds up my debit card cash atm withdrawals for May as that was a quieter month for me. Gay and partnered and don't go,out clubbing.

350,000 baht. Yikes!!

my penis is over three feet long

I'm very sorry for you, must be impossible to get sex at 20.000 or 100.000+ baht

My best guess is the anonymous voters are maybe the honest ones.

It only has 3 100.000+ ones and more honest 20-40K baht ones.

Just a startup for the weekly newbie question:

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO LIVE IN THAILAND

When I worked in Bangkok my salary was X and banked, my accommodation was $1800 for serviced apartment and about $2000 / $2500 on going out, shopping / food / clothes, weekends away, some months might not go anywhere some months might fly back to the uk. Just an average.

So about 115,000 to 125,000 baht per month.

For me this is a good standard of living and what I hope to achieve for retirement or more so I can continue to enjoy business class flights and such (25 years left to get there). I wouldn't spend that kind of money in the uk as I have my own place and of course the salary is much less and no standard allowances

At that time I was single. I'm now married so spending habits will change when kids come

It was about 20k but I think it's gone up a bit in the last year. I'm on tourist visas for another couple of years so have to leave and re-enter every 90 days (after 30 day extension) to activate a new entry and I now just fly to Penang for 2 days rather than doing it by road. I guess it would be around 25k.

I'm planning on £2-3k per month (100-150k) when I retire in 5yrs, I'm hoping that's going to leave some in savings each month tho for a rainy day.

I'm keeping houses in Thailand and UK, not sure what to do with the others yet.

I reckon you would get change out of Bt 2,000.

Need details, PM me.

EDIT ... this guy is cheaper then mine.

Bt 200 for a clean ... fantastic price! I can't match that.

speaking of spending , any one tell me what 2 fillings and deep clean with a BKK dentist would cost, any recommendations would be a great help.

Fillings start at 400 baht, depending on the size and materials used.

If you get the dentist to do the fillings the clean will be done for free.

Directly opposite Big C in On Nut are two dentists who offer these prices.

A clean is about 200 baht.
