June 14, 201412 yr Amazing 4 weeks after new barriers installed....choppy water..little wind....you can see the result . Seems nobody realized the sea not always calm, and sometimes a bit windy . God forbid we have a storm Still I am sure someone made lots of money!!!!!!!!!!!!
June 14, 201412 yr We have had extremely strong winds for several days, that and people walking on them consistently only exasperated their demise. Just like the old ones they will eventually be repaired.
June 16, 201412 yr No way to keep people off of them, this is Thailand! And that was probably part of the design idea.
June 17, 201412 yr They were not designed for walking on one life has been lost already through there miss use
June 17, 201412 yr Go to Bang Saray. Look at the Bouys there. They are a connected in series and are sausage-shaped ,not rectangular. Nobody can walk on them, so why not use the same design here? Jomtien just made a dumb purchasing decision. Edited June 17, 201412 yr by BugJackBaron
June 17, 201412 yr The bouys at Bang Saray are the same that was at Jomtien, and they brake, thats why they were changed!
