Choosing A Modelling Agency For My Child

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a "luk krueng" toddler who has been approached by interested agencies to register with them and have her snapshots taken for free. I realise that there are many modelling agencies out there who would be interested in representing my daughter and I wouldn't mind giving it a shot. Does anyone know which agency is the biggest when it comes to casting for kids?

And how does it work here? To go with just one agency or a couple?

I have the option of Chic models, JIM modelling and P & N international model management. Which should I go with for my child?

Glad to hear any advice. Thanks!

My daughter, farang, was a child model and it is not an easy life for child or parents!

If the child is outgoing and you have a lot of spare time, interest and primarily patience, it may succeed.

With regard to the model agencies you mention. Is Chic affiliated to the California or Australian Agencies? Is it a franchise?, or is it just ripping off the name and reputation.

JIM seems to have been around a long time and have a reasonable reputation.

I can find no website for P & N. Is there one, if not, forget it.

They will provide snaps free! Find out if they insist on doing the portfolio and if so how much?

Good Luck.
