re entry permit

Featured Replies

forget to get a re entry permit and my OA retirment visa expires Dec.14,14.,,coming back to Bangkok from oz next month. what will the immigration

officer do.

If you do not have a re entry permit ,then your visa is gone, you have to apply for a new one. Sorry.

if your oa visa is a multiple entry and has a 'enter before' date of 14 december 2014 quoted on the visa itself you will be given 12 months on any entry before the use 'enter before' date [as said 14 december 2014].

once the 'enter before' date has lapsed you will need a valid re-entry permit to keep any then 'permitted to stay until ...' alive. failing to obtain a re-entry permit then will mean you would need to start over by getting a new non o or non oa visa.

utr has got it right.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

see the bright side: a new visa is cheaper than an extension of stay

new visa in Penang 5,500 baht

extension + reentry 5,700 Baht

I would think if he forgot to get a re entry permit

he is on an extensions

so when u come back the extension dies

and u will be stamped in for 30 days

and u will need apply for anew O visa an than do the extension again.

If u really have a 1 year visa your good to go.

Just look at the date in your passport
