You can buy it over the counter pretty much everywhere. No script required.

Not sure if it is legal to do so...

also there have been many pharmacies raided over the last few years.

My advice see a local doctor to get a prescription.

All Viagra and Kamagra is illegal unless you have a prescription. Stings are widely used when purchasing these drugs on the street. Most of the Viagra you buy on the street is illegally made anyway, normally in India or even in Cambodia or Thailand. it's not the real stuff. And thus, potentially dangerous. You never know what dose you are getting. Kamagra is the same. Many who take these drugs (even the real ones) end up with problems.

If you want to be legal, visit a doctor and get a prescription.

The "big" pharmacies like boots will NOT give you any such medicaments without prescription. What you get in small pharmacies is mainly fake stuff from India, Cambodia or China and potentially very dangerous as described above.

Easiest is to go to a hospital, i.e. Pattaya Memorial, tell the staff that you need something against erectile dysfunction and they will get you to see a doctor, you tell him, tell him what you want (Viagra, Cialis, Sidegra), how many you want and then get them directly from the hospital pharmacy.

I went there, waited 30 minutes, saw the doc, got a prescription for Sidegra (Thai generica of Viagra, even looks the same) for 50 Baht a pill (Viagra is more likely to be 500 per pill), paid 500 Baht for the doc, x*50 Baht for the Sidegra and walked out after 1 hour with what I needed at that time.

Easy, legal, safe.

as Craig just said, you are right, it is not legal.

One post removed pointing to a friendly pharmacist who puts profits above abiding to the law.

I should add that promoting illegal activities is not allowed on Thaivisa. Please keep this in mind, the OP's question has been anyways answered.

Maybe we need some more pointers to clinics and doctors?

If the Viagra is fake it would be obvious. The packaging is noticeably different. I am skeptical that Thailand's 50 tbt copy of Viagra is equivalent.

I've seen it. It's extremely close. Unless you are an expert, you'll never know. Same packaging, same stamps on the pills, same color, same shape, etc. Even say the manufacturer's name on it.

No different from the knockoff clothes, musical instruments, bike parts, etc. that are counterfeited. Some are done very, very well.

I can tell you from personal experience that Sidegra has the same effect as Viagra. Again, go to a hospital, see a doc, get a prescription and the pills from the hospital pharmacy... and then enjoy your sex life... giggle.gif

yada yada the fakes are dangerous yakety-yak (on behalf of Messrs. Pfizer et al to protect their profit billions) coffee1.gif

note: the active ingredients of the "enhancers" are so dàmn cheap that even the packaging cost of both generic and real drug is much more expensive. why would a producer sell rubbish and spoil his future in the market?

fact: price of 1 kg Sildenafil 99.5% (Viagra) bought in bulk quantity (India) US-Dollars 550-600 = a quantity to produce 10,000 (tenthousand) 100mg pills.

I'll try to find that video showing fake drugs being made here. Basically in a bucket in somebody's shed. No protective wear, no cleaned utensils. Not even using the real stuff. And the concentrations are never the same, nor always good for humans. Really bad. The instrument used to measure the amount needed was an old tin cup. I think it was posted here a few years ago....

I've been in the manufacturing sites for many big pharmas. They are impressive.

But yes, from a pricing point of view, the basic ingredients are cheap. Though Pfizer is now trying to recoup the millions spent in research. Hard to argue with that.

If the drug was 100% the same, with the exact same ingredients made in the same sterile manner, then the only other item is the sunk costs for research. Right???

I'm sure many of us are no longer using toothpaste from China, dog food, nor using baby milk from there. Among many other items. Wasn't honey also in the mix?

I find that looking at a naked woman with a come hither smile on her face makes my willy go hard.biggrin.png

The "come hither smile" may actually have been her attempt at stifling a huge guffaw at the sight of something resembling a worm cheesy.gif

Who is advertising this? If it is a Google generated ad, nothing we can do, different thing if it is a sponsor.

Two more posts deleted that suggest buying Viagra at the pharmacy.

Again, Viagra is a prescription drug and purchasing it without it is illegal.

Here is the related forum rule:

3) Do not post about activities or links to websites containing such material that are illegal in Thailand. This includes but is not limited to: gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing, file sharing, warez, cracks, pyramid schemes, etc. Discussion of file-sharing of pirated material is prohibited, however file sharing for legal purposes is allowed.

And here is a link to the rest of the forum rules, three posters in here have now a bit of time to read them. If you want to join them, just let me know.

I've used Indian generics in Cambodia with great satisfaction and with no side effects. As have many others there. About 75 baht for package of 4 x 100 mg.

Cambodia is a funny name for a lady. there's a country neighbouring Thailand with the same name.

may we conclude that Ms. Cambodia was greatly satisfied without side effects after using 4x100mg in her?

I note a number of post suggesting going to certain hospitals to get a prescription, but I would have thought a clinic/doctors surgery would have been cheaper and more convenient?

Anyone with first hand experience knows the prices from a local doctor?

Dont know about Pattaya, here in Bkk my brother in law buys the Thai stuff, 2,000 baht for 60 pills/tablets or whatever they are called.

I was not asking about the price of the stuff, but about the ease to of getting a legitimate prescription from a local doctor, I have used local doctors on occasions and found them to be reasonably priced, but not for prescribing enhancements.

As for local pharmacies I feel there are well run ones and some of dubious standards with unqualified staff probably not licenced to sell controlled medications, probably only displays medications that you can buy at any shop over the counter, and it is these that are very willing to sell enhancements, they can not buy their supplies legitimately so do not know if they are fake or not.
