Do I go back to Amphur Office where married just down the rd or elsewhere?

Will it be issued as originals my Wifes in Thai and mine English characters

For Visas do they want the copy of both sides on one piece of paper or on 2 sheets?

Appreciate your advice

I assume I'll neeed my passport

Can do copies of picture current visa etc nearby

Is there anything else thay can possibly need ,Photos of House how to find my wallet etc?

They always angle for something you don't have for atip so I usually arrive with sheaf of copies of absolutely everything.

Wife

Housebook

ID card her wedding certicate original?

Also told handy to have copies from Registrars book, last time was about 20bahts and 100 pipers

Fees no problem but like to know the true tariff so I can improve it for speedier delivery

Ask at your local amphur first, but probably have to go to the amphur where you got married and you will need a police report of it missing. Not sure what they will issue.

I've had to replace marriage certificates for various reasons a couple of times now.

Make a police loss report. The cost is minimal plus the Umphur will not issue a replacement without the police report.

Take that report to the Umphur where you were married.

They will issue you stamped copies of the marriage registration document. The marriage registration document is the papers you filled in to get married. They will not issue replacement certificates.

While you're there get a few stamped marriage registration copies for future use. Again the cost is minimal. These copies are accepted in court as a replacement for the marriage certificate.

I have never heard of a marriage certificate issued by an Amphoe being in English. Both copies are in Thai.

If you have a copy of your marriage certificate they will stamp it as as a certified copy at the Amphoe after they confirm you are really married and issue a new Kor Ror 2 to go with it.

In one of my earlier reports, I stated that recently I attended Amphur Muang Chonburi and obtained two copies of Khor Ror 2 both signed and dated and also requested they sign and date a copy of marriage certificate in the Thai language.

All that was required was the fee of B20 together with copies of my passport and the wife's ID.

Simple and straightforward.
