I recently posted about how to extend my stay here in Thailand as i wanted to stay with my family for a while longer.

I had great replies as how to go about getting a new visa so i could stay . But , by mistake i never mentioned that i did not have a tourist visa granted from UK , all i got was a 30 day visa on arrival. I have been to Cambodia 3 times allready and each time been granted an extension of 30 days . On my last visit the woman told me i could not do this again and had to apply for a different visa if i wanted to stay as i had been in and out too many times.

This being the case , please can somebody please tell me what i have to do next in regards to getting a visa that allows me to stay here as a non immigrant.

Go to Savanakhet, Laos and get a multiple non-O visa based on marriage.

The consulate in Savanhaket do not require any financial documentation.

Every entry will give you 90 days and if you make a border hop just before the visa expires you can get out 15 months on this visa.

If married to a Thai you can get a multiple entry non-o visa in Savannakhet Laos with no financial proof. This visa would give you 90 day entries for a year.

You will need your marriage certificate (plus a copy), signed and dated copies of your wife's house book and ID card.

In the short term you can extend your permission to stay 60 days for visiting your Thai family. Done at your local immigration office, TM7 form, 1900 baht, marrage certificate, wife's ID and house book and wife + normal passport copies.

A multiple entry non-o costs 5000 baht.

Savannakhet is across the river from Mukdahan.

You apply the morning of one day and pick up your passport the next afternoon.

The consulate is not open on weekends.
