Due to unplanned testing of Heathrow’s baggage systems, Thai Airways' planned move into Terminal 2 on the 2nd of July 2014 has been postponed until later in the summer. Until the new move date, flights will be departing as normal from Heathrow Terminal 3.This is to allow Terminal 2’s baggage systems to be further trialled and tested so that everything works as it should. Journey times will not be affected and we apologise for any inconvenience caused – we look forward to welcoming you to the new Terminal 2 in due course. When all 23 Star Alliance member airlines have been phased into Terminal 2, it will be the first time ever that they all operate from a single hub. This will provide passengers with a seamless experience, providing shorter connecting time between flights. The terminal will also have more automated processes and common facilities than currently exists in any of Heathrow's other terminals, thus providing passengers more control over their journey.
