Id Card

Featured Replies

Hi Ladies

I have question regarding ID Cards ,my wifes card expires soon and as we are about to visit Thailand again will she need to renew it ?My wife has been in uk now for 3 years and we were wondering if she will still need her card.any info please

If she still needs it where in Pattaya can we renew ?

The id cards as far as I know can only be renewed at the amphur where she is registered (this info is what hubby was told but is 2 years out of date though).

Have her call the MFA (ministry of foreign affairs) from the UK before you go, they should be able to clarify exactly how to renew it & where it can be done. They handle all thai passports etc so should !! know what to do. :o

Have a great holiday.

Thanks boo

1 week today cant wait 28 days of land of smile is just the tonic :-))

totally jealous !!! although the the summer in the UK isn't turning out too bad this year. Got 4 months till we go but 4 months too long IMO :o

It's always a good idea to have the ID current. She can renew it at the Pattaya city hall (north road), it will take her only 5-10 min and make sure she has the current tabienbaan with her. It's very easy and painless process with only mininal fee.
