hellohello123
I know there is a list of hotels in bkk, but unless there is another thread on this, How about we list some awesome value hotels in sukhumvit Here are mine Le fenix soi 11 - about $60 per night with breakfast, terrific value Dream bangkok soi 15- about 70 Inc breakfast, nice rooms Radisson suites soi 13 - about 80 per night without breakfast, beautiful big rooms, but location a bit isolated, I believe it's the cheapest 5 Star
Diplomatico
Agree with you on the Radisson Suites, though I wouldn't classify it as a five star hotel. Location is stumbling distance from The Sportsman Pub They have a sister property on soi 18, Park Plaza hotel, that can be had for about $60 per night (plus tax) without breakfast. Good location, nice tree lined street with lots of dining options. Edited July 9, 2014 by Diplomatico
ongchart
This is a recently renovated resort style hotel in the middle of Sukhumvit - Ocean Urban on Soi 33. I think it costs $45-50/nite. It used to be the Livingstones. Good location, 5-8 mins walk to Phrom Phong BTS, with a Villa Supermarket just below the Station. Have a look: https://www.facebook.com/oceanbangkok http://www.oceanbangkok.com Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Edited July 9, 2014 by ongchart

Prime location, right it the heart of the action, BTS a quick walk away, "the walk of shame" in the morning, good food, what more does a man want? This hotel has everything, good buffet breakfast, can check in early morning, check out up till 2pm, excellent swimming pool, no price increases in the high season, good helpful staff, then they go and spoil it all by charging you for wi-fi. That is why I never use it now.
hellohello123
hello everyone, thought id repost rather than a new thread im going to bkk very shortly, ive been keeping tabs on teh hotels that I ve always liked ive noticed that prices have increased by 10-15% over the past 12 months due to the exchange rate of AUD vs THB going from 30 down to 26ish My preference is soi 11, 13, 15, dnt like soi 4 or the even numbered ones ive noticed that of all the hotels that I used to stay at most have gone up a fair bit while just 1 has stayed the same[ eg dream hotel used to be about 60 AUD per night, last week it was 105, and now it $120 does anybody recommend any hotels under $100 AUD, key factors for me are breakfast , wifi, location the hotels that I like are le fenix dream in residence/radisson grand millenium (now called pullman) Swiss grand president thansk everyone

Thainess
Omni Towers(soi 4), or Centerpoint soi 10. Both hidden gems at higher prices if you after some luxury Omni Tower, "some luxury"? Hahahaha, best joke I've heard this year so far! "Hidden gems"? I think you meant to write "hidden germs", as well as all the germs that are clearly visible.
