Smart phone question - HTC Desire 816

Featured Replies

Hi there

I just purchased a new HTC desire 816 phone at DTACT and they told me it had only been released a month or so ago.

I signed up for the monthly plan 500 a month which includes unlimited internet. When I launch chrome and try to connect to gmail the message is displayed: 'you are offline'

If I go to settings and click on mobile data the 'data roaming' box is unchecked. Under the heading the following narrative is displayed: 'may result in significant data charges'.

If I have paid for the 500 baht a month unlimited internet then checking that box is the only way for me to go online and presumably its all covered by the plan. Would this be true? I would ask dtac but its a nightmare as I dont speak thai and they dont speak English. Apart from that Im too lazy to go back to the shop

thanks

Dtac customer service speak English. But yes that is JUST a standard warning sign as you are on a package your internet is included.

" Able to use 4G/3G at maximum speed 42 Mbps for 6 billing cycles. Usage greater than limited volume will be subject to speeds of no greater than 384 Kbps "

Your limited volume is 1gb.

Don't forget you also get included free DTAC wifi (which is not that good) but it is in some shopping malls etc..

What's the phone like? What did you have before?

Sent from my XT1032 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

Under the heading the following narrative is displayed: 'may result in significant data charges'.

That is a generic warning from the OS on the phone

The actual charges depend on the plan you paid for
