I just got a retirement Visa. Is there anything I need to do before I go if I'm planning a trip to another country?

I've read there's something called a "re-entry permit". If so, how do I get one?

Go to the very same Immigation where you bought your extension of stay and they sell it to you. 1 entry 1.000 baht and multiple entries 3.800 baht

If you have an extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon retirement you obtained from immigration you will need a re-entry permit.

If you have a visa with multiple entries from an embassy or consulate you will not need one.

If you exit the country without the reentry permit, your extension is canceled and you have to start all over again to get another extension.
