intel4004
I've bought a small satchel from Big C about a week ago and the zipper handle is working loose and coming off. What are my consumer rights here? Can I get a refund? I still have the receipt. Popular Post CharlieH
This might be a radical solution but have you tried going to the store and asking them.
daveAustin
Usually 7 days with the big stores.
Crossy
+1 ^^^, the store should be your first port of call. Most of the big chains will replace faulty goods if returned within a reasonable time.

kannot
Wife took a bag back to "heres to you Mrs............" store for them to repair it, 6 months later they didnt repair it and lost it too, after a big fight over it they said they would give the Wife vouchers for a new bag................of a very limited and crap range. So "heres to you Mrs ............."
Popular Post DLock
I finally got my Samsonite bag back this week - 8 months after I returned it with a broken handle. They admitted that they take 45 bags back per month to be repaired in Chiang Mai alone. I'm a big fan of "lifetime warranty"...but I wasn't aware they meant "my lifetime".
mrtoad
I think with any luggage or bags, you are better of buying branded items, as they just last longer. The stuff in Big C and Tesco to be fair is just cheap and doesn't last. You should though be able to get it replaced if you go back to the store. intel4004
Went back on Sunday (bag was bought the previous Sunday) and they gave me a full refund. They did offer to repair it but I had already bought a replacement so was very happy with the outcome
