Dene16
Foremost I am fully aware that I can apply for a thai driving licence with a non immigrant O-A retirement visa. However over the next few years I doubt I will be staying more than 3 months in the country at any one time due to commitments in the UK After some thought it still seems a better option to obtain a retirement visa and get a thai driving licence for numerous reasons (own vehicle's in my own name etc.) to name just one. My dilemma is that if I arrive on a interim 90 day / visa (not sure what visa this is) before changing to a 1 year non immigrant O-A long stay retirement visa , could I apply for a thai driving licence on the interim 90 day visa. If this is a non immigrant type o which I am lead to believe, what is to stop me doing this?
