My niece needed a lap top, so instead of buying her a new computer, I’m old school and believe in hand me downs, so I bought myself a new computer and handed my old one down to my niece. I have been thinking for a while now of getting a Tablet, so when Asus came out with a very reasonably priced Transformer computer (T-100) at ฿12,900, I decided to buy it. It’s early days, but so far I am quite happy with the computer. Learning Windows 8 is taking a while, but it took me a while to adjust from XP to Windows 7 and I am sure way back when, from 2000 to XP. For a long time now I have been using my Android Phone as a computer. I really enjoy the apps, so I figured okay I’ll see what the Windows Store has to offer. Well to my chagrin, when I tried to buy an app and submit my Credit Card as payment, for country they only list US, and my Credit Card is Canadian based. Does anybody know how I can buy from the Windows Store with a Canadian based Credit Card? There must be someway for non US based customers to buy from the store. Can someone out there please help me. Thank you.

I don't know if this will help, but when I go to Windows Store in the very bottom left corner in small print there's a link that says "Canadian English." You might try that.

PS I wonder if it has to do with Canadian import duties or something like that?

I had a slightly different problem some months ago and had to call their support line:

001-800-2468-1668

02-263-6888

First one is toll free. Second one will also get you to the customer service desk through some menus. They're not open on weekends.
