Seen this morning at approx. 1:45 am at the thappraya/thepprasit intersection:

A small white car (maybe honda Jazz or similar) was stopped on Thepprasit, several motorbikes around, in discussion with the driver.

A minute later, I hear a loud bang similar to a large well-compressed firecracker or maybe from a revolver, I turn my head, and I see he white car stopped opposite Gian's on Thappraya, the driver waving frustrated and motorcycles speeding away.

any news reports?

Were they Thai?

If locals, there won't be any reports if nobody got hurt, me think.

If the car driver was a big mouth Yank (Brit, etc, insert whatever nationality you like, or dislike), then there may be a report tomorrow or the day after.

Smart money is on #2 based on the absolutely useless 'eye witness' description of events.
