Non o etc..

Featured Replies

I read some time back that if you have a joint account and want a non o or o-a you had to have 16,000 bht does anyone one if this is true..

Also, in uk is it now three months

And for extension of stay from tourist to whatever one u can have over 50 is it two months..

Either uk or here, does it have to be bank account or do they accept savings account..

Many thanks..

I am replying just to get this up the page.

The reason you have had no replies is that probably no body understands what you are asking.

I certainly do not have a clue.

Try re asking.

I will re write...

Want to apply for either o or o a visa at so e stage..

I read that the norm is 800'000 baht in account but I also read if you have a joint account you need double the amount is this true ..

If applying in uk do you need the money in for three months now?

If you apple in Thailand from a tourist visa to extended stay etc does the money have to be in. Two months at the moment.

On proving you have x amount, does it have to be a bank account or will savings account also be accepted....

Think I written right this time lol.. Thanks for letting me be aware of not writing it correctly...

There is no need to season the money when you apply for the visa itself.

If you apply for a tourist visa and do a conversion in Thailand, you do not need to have seasoned the money. But the mmoney must be in a bankaccount in your name in Thailand and you need proof of that the money came from abroad.

When you convert you get a stay of 90 days. Before the end of those 90 days the money does need to be seasoned for 2 months.

When you open a bankaccount it wil be a savings account. What is not accepted is a bank account where your money is tied up and you cannot access it during the agreed period.

Thank you for replying.. I wanted a year non 0 as we r over 50.. Don't want 90 days, mbut do we need that first then the year non o..

For a conversion you always first get 90 days and after 60 days you can go back to immigration to get a full 1 year extension, which you extend every year again.

If you want to travel outside the country, you need a re-entry permit.
