I am returning to the UK for a couple of weeks next month, whilst I am there I want to renew my non immigrant visa.

I have all of the required paperwork apart from a CRB check within the last 6 months.

When I informed the Thai consulate in the UK that I havnt been there within the last 6 months, they said I would have to get a police check done in Thailand.

Is this possible? I am living in Ko Samui at the moment.

Yes it will be checked via interpol records.The CRB was the most intrusive and ineffective method the UK gov introduced to protect children

Are you applying for a OA visa? If not then you don't need it.
