Potter
I hope this could become a sticky post for 2014. I am interested to apply for PRP this year. 1) Does anybody know when it will be pulled out? 2) Are applications since 2009 still "pending"? 3) Any news on getting a direct Thai citizenship with out being married? 4) Anybody know where and how to get those tax papers for the last couple of years? 5) It does no longer say permanent residency permit. Is this the right url? Here are a couple of useful links:2013 threadCamretas Guide Thai immigration For those who argue against PRP, please do so other places and keep this thread for those who is interested in applying Thank You
Mario2008
You can only apply for PR when immigration makes an announcement that you now can apply, after the Minister has approved to open up for applications and set the quotas. Normally that is once a year for about two weeks in December, with an announcement in November.
Old Man River
Do permanent residents have to start carrying their white books as well as their passports? Do the police understand that permanent residents do not need to have re-entry permits? Does anyone have any thoughts on this as Thailand cracks down on those overstaying? sas_cars
Applications from 2009 are still pending. I am from 2011 batch. Let's keep our fingers crossed and see what happens next.
