Google as much as you want, you want the PTP back your welcome, I only believe what I see in happening to the nation and it's well being.

At this moment in time in 2 months tremendous strides/inroads have been carved out. The last government WAS a regime. This is a clean up.

You give me a list of persons suffering from freedom of speech ??/ NOT disruptive bodies that have been gagged, this was necessary for the time being.

Take your blinkers off, again another with sour grapes, what is your problem with the spring clean ?  did you object when your mother had one.??  I never did I encouraged her.  I didn't google to see if she was right.

Good grief. Do me a favour, just google "Franklins Canon" and see if you recognise yourself.

Keep googling Fab if it suits -you still avoid points of my posts about your reasons for not proposing only nit picking. As you are homing in on this one.

Take a look at yourself and your motives for posting,   Has anything the army has done that pleases you ???  if so talk about it --lets discuss.

It is not possible to hold a full frank discussion on this forum (or elsewhere in Thailand) due to restrictions imposed by the ruling military junta - a fact that seems to have passed you by, or the knowledge of such restrictions you are deliberately suppressing, for reasons best known to yourself.

Your agenda to speak like this anything ANTI-to be disruptive.  The army does not want anyone with an agenda aimed at disruption. simple.

You didn't answer my question about any good things that have arisen in the last 2 months.

When you have an agenda you do not want that interfered with. Picture this if you can, Yes Yingluck she had an agenda to stick to/ordered as most think from away.   When it is in place the way to not to get involved is to get out of the way----do not answer awkward questions that could lead to the negative.---do not have live debates in public unless it is to put down criticism.

You do not seem to have normal discussions on forum only counter accusations, googling with material to deflect.  Most of TVF posters do not have an agenda, they either praise or object that is the normal pattern here.  History is history, so let us get on with improving rather than slamming the army past record,  take it a day at a time, see what happens.

Can't think of anything good. Please enlighten us.

As for your desire for a normal discussion that is impossible as your new rulers have banned them.

Lets give the boys a chance and see where it goes. The whole system here has been based on automatic promotions and greased palms, some might say, I couls not possible comment on that. The Armed Forces are not likely to get much attention to that until things are more advanced, the Police look like they are higher up the list and lets face it its a big list its going to take time.

We are all used to democracy western style, which is not what has been going here, its a different brand of democracry in name only. I am no fan of coups but the current people in power seem to be doing a fine job as I see it, we of course, can make comments but cannot vote, the Thais who can that I know all seem very happy with the Military in control, for the time being, it will be interesting to see where we are in 18 months time when an election might have taken place or be imminent.

I thought at first that the irony of your comment with respect to the thread had completely passed you by, but then I see you qualify it with a "it will be interesting to see where we are in 18 months time when an election might have taken place or be imminent", so perhaps you haven't quite fallen for it all, unlike some on this forum who are completely smitten.

Do you think that the administration that were ejected were doing a good job, for Thailand or themselves? Whilst not being for too long I do get a feel for whats going on, as you have probably noticed I am for giving the current rulers a chance to clean things up for a fresh start and see where it goes. I understand that there have been changes in Phuket and Pattaya, they do seem to be something rather than just talking about doing things.

There are probably people who dont like what is happening for one reason or another, maybe PTP supporters, dislikers of coups or whatever or feel this not democratic. I dont know what your stance is but it does not seem to be the same as mine, I am up for a fresh start, you cannot run a democratic system where the opposition cant wait for the next election before the rallies start, then you get the violence and then you get the military moving in to stop a potential civil war because the two sides wont listen or compromise, what is happening is the better option for now and like I have said the Thais I speak to seem happy with the current situation, so good luck to them.

Thats all very well but the military have been doing this every 5 or 6 years for the past half century. What makes everyone think this time will be any different. They are fighting the inevitable tide of the peoples will to govern themselves and each coup just seems to be another failed attempt to stem it.
