How long will it take?

Featured Replies

How long will it take until a statement like the one issued by the "Head-Immigration-Official" becomes binding for ALL immigration offices in this country.  See thread No need to worry says Bangkok Immigration Commander.

How long will it take to bring "Immigration" under a centralized umbrella that determines what the immigration law of the land is and what is not.

Individual interpretations of immigration laws by by local Immigration-Gods must come to an end.

= The Hua-Hin Immigration-Locals that caused this havoc, will they be promoted or sanctioned?

Cheers.

Fiefdoms and power bases are how a society based in small groups, clans, and poo yai / poo noi relationships exists..

Changing it isnt going to happen in the near term.

You mean how long until immigration HQ hires an English speaking PR person ? I hope not long.

When you are here long enough to know a local office commander does not make national policy. Ministers and some local office commanders pop off all the time. We just wait a few hours for the clarification. It happens so often one might suspect they might be in it for the attention.
