Thai national paying income tax? (online income)

 Hey guys,

I'm teaching my Thai friend how to do some work online, in which they would be paid through Paypal. No tax deductions at the source. It's foreign income coming from the US.

They're a bit oblivious to say the least when it comes to taxes. They've only worked as a teacher and her response was that she wasn't sure or didn't know they took a portion of her income for taxes. I have no knowledge of tax laws for Thai nationals.

 So... a couple questions:

1. How much tax would she need to pay on it? On an example of 40,000 BAHT, or an annual income of 480,000B.

2. Does she need to be registered as self-employed or a business to do this? I'm thinking in time, she can make 30,000-40,000 or more.

Is there any other critical information I should know?

 Thanks guys!
