Hi - I'm on a double entry tourist visa. I have to get my first 30 day stamp at Chaeng Wattana immigration by Aug 15. My question is can I go in to immigration before that date without losing days of the use of this visa?

YES, anytime between now and the 15th.  I would go during mid week and remember they will be closed on 11 and 12 so doing it this week would be best.
