August 3, 201411 yr Hello everyone! i'm french and I leave next week to Bangkok for work as a freelance photographer,I got a non immigrant visa category B, according to the invitation letter from my agency (in Europe), but I have to get a work permit or WP3 for work in Thailand to do my job legally, does anyone have information on this famous WP3,or work permit, when and where I shall apply ?, and especially what kind of documents I need to provide?and after obtaining the work permit, I would subsequently increase the duration of my stay in 1 year with multiple entries on the Thai territory.thank you Guillaume
August 3, 201411 yr You probably should of gotten a non-m visa for the media. Since you mention an agency I suspect that would put into the category of photo journalist. You will do the process of getting your work permit and extension through the Ministry of Foreign affairs.. See this PDF for info: http://www.mfa.go.th/main/contents/images/text_editor/files/Guidanceforforeignpress.pdf
August 4, 201411 yr Author hi ! yes but i'm not sure they will apply anything for the press right now ! because of the coup they censorship everything at this time, that's why should better to do a WP (normal one) what do you think ? but i should a WP for getting extention stay and Multiple Entries ?
August 4, 201411 yr Doing it through the MFA is the only way you are going to get a work permit and extension unless you are working for a Thai company. I am sure they are still doing them for the press. That would certainly be in the news if they didn't do them.
August 4, 201411 yr Author Thanks for reply ! and do you think i can get a multiple entries with this press visa ? because i could go around Thailand for some job
