Has anyone heard any information about this office putting effort towards, shall I say expediting normal services offered and reducing the lengthy lines?

No funding has been the excuse for the last 10 years I can remember.

They have - they opened other offices all around the country.  You no longer wait for everyone from ten other provinces coming into CM..  i.e. it could be no worse then before.  Here in P-lok I find the wait time for retirement extention about 30 minutes at most - in and out in less then a hour with air conditioned waiting room and TV.  Maybe think about moving if ya can.

Sigh. Then here's my small wish. That someone up there with authority, say a military official type, finds him or herself getting in a queue to get in a queue to get in a queue for a 2 hour wait for a 30 second paperwork shuffle, and they have to repeat this every 90 days, and that by all indications that wait will increase a few minutes every year for the rest of their life in the country.
