I tried doing a search and even looking back at many, many topics but did not find a relevant topic.

My Versys is up for renewal. It was previously done by Lockton brokers and Falcon as the insurer. I paid a premium of Bt 11,540 last year and this year's renewal premium is going to be Bt11,173.

I have no idea if this is a good price or not. I also have a few other bikes that will need insuring (Ninja 1000, KLX 250, PCX 150, ER6N (maybe)) plus a Ford Ranger.

Can anyone recommend a good broker or insurance company? Are AA (advertisers on TV) any good?

Tks in advance

I'm using Viriyah for my FZ-09. THB 19,334 for insured value of THB 350,000 and still with a THB 20,000 excess. Doesn't include the THB 600 compulsory insurance as this was 'generously' thrown in by Yamaha with the new bike.

I asked Lockton for a quote and it was about the same.

Frankly all a bit of a rip-off considering I bought a CRV last year and that's a bit over THB 20,000 to insure without any excess. Yes, bikes are more risky etc etc but still ...

Person I dealt with is Khun Arunrat 02-642-2093. Friendly enough. No idea what they're like in case of an actual claim.

gweiloman, i think they gave you an OK price.

i pay 9200 thb for my cbr650 but that price comes through the agreement of bigwing and tokio marine.

other insurance they offer was 12 k thb.

Seems AA is a bit high. Is AA the actual company name? I see Siam City Insurance as being the actual insurer.

I'm going to shop around Viriyah, AXA and a few others.
