Hi everyone

I was wondering if someone could lead me in the right direction I am suppose to be marrying my Thai fiance next month but I am now having problems with my embassy and have been waiting already 3 weeks to get my letter of marital status before I can get married but my embassy said that it now seems in my country the home affairs is extremely slow and now I have to wait another 8weeks, the problem is this my non B visa expires on the 27 of September and I don't want to sign another contract for another year at my job because I want to change to a non o visa and may not be able to work there anymore... Also I don't want to have to leave Thailand again... What are my options can I change to a non o before I actually get married so I don't have to leave Thailand before September? Need some suggestions please.

As you are asking for advice on visas, moving to the Visas forum.  

Without marriage no extension based on marriage. Your only option would be to leave Thailand and get a single tourist visa in a neighboring country.
