I carry a Philippine passort and the pages were running out. So I applied for a new passport and got it.

Question: On the old passport there is a 30 arrival stamp on it. It will expire on March 28, '04. I have a new passport, recieved on March 12, '04. What happens to the 30 arrival stamp on the old passport? Should I exit soonest and get a new 30 day stamp? I'm still looking for a job in between stamps.

lamphun is right, some embassies will give you a letter asking immigration to transfer your current visa over. with or without a letter get over to thai immigration soon, and have it transfered, your old passport may now be invalid .

not wise to walk around with a new blank passport while in thailand, get the visa transferred over and then leave on or before 28 mar 2004 for a visa run.
