Watching AFL finals footy in Surat Thani

I will be staying in Surat Thani in September and would like to watch the AFL footy finals, which will be played out over 4 weekends culminating in the Grand Final on Saturday 27th September.

Are there any pubs or cafes or other places in Surat Thani that show AFL broadcasts on a regular and reliable basis?

If not, does anyone have recommendations regarding subscription TV that broadcast AFL matches? The Australia Network broadcasts AFL matches via satellite and apparently through the following rebroadcasters in Thailand: Thailand Cable Association, CTH and True Visions.

There are also the options of watching the matches through the AFL Global Pass, but this would require a fast Internet connection and I don’t know what the quality would be like, or flying to Bangkok each weekend to watch the matches there.

I will be staying in a house in Phun Phin during my time in Surat Thani.
