non immigrant B visa

Hi everyone,

 

To obtain a non immigrant B if we are in Thailand already, is it required to submit a WP1 or WP3 form?

Also I heard that it was possible to get a business visa in bkk (so without leaving Thailand) if you possess a degree, is that correct?

A WP1 would be used to apply for a work permit.

After the work permit application is approved if your job and company qualify you might be able to apply for a conversion to a non immigrant visa entry.

so first apply to WP1, get approval letter, then get business B, then get work permit, is it correct?

But there is good chance that you will have to leave the country to get the non-b visa,

I'm pretty sure too that it's not possible to get the visa while in thailand, a friend of mine says that he knows someone who got it in BKK because he has a degree but I have a strong doubt, is that possible?

The degree alone is not the reason for being able to do it.

In some cases it might just be that  the employer is paying an agent to handle the application.

If it is through a BOI company then the BKK office will do I all without you having to leave the country.

Maybe it's safer to use an agency, is it risky to do it alone?

What is the average price for an agency?
