Tacos & Salsa on Suk Soi 18 close?

Last time I ate there they were charging for salsa. Yes, they served me burritos with no salsa! Had to pay 40Bt. just for a splash.

Not good I was thinking.... Especially when the competition, LaMonitas give 12 salsas FREE.

I don't live in BKK, but I ate a couple times at the first place and

one time at the one by The Emporium.

I saw the the BP article and was wondering if it was like those 2,

I had never been to the 3rd. place under the T & S name.

I saw the BPost ad too and wondered about the new place. No, I have not eaten there and am not sure I could even find it. The original Jorge's place was very good (best "Mexican food" in town at that time). He served three salsas for free. Then, unfortunately, he moved way down to the end of the road and the place became "inconvenient." Then, apparently, he sold it, and now has a new place. I liked Jorge's food and my guess is that he is making the same good food at the new place. Is the new place good?

Jorge sold the Soi 18 Taco & Salsa to a mexican gal that made nice food. Still there a few months ago.

So is Jorge back or is the mexican lady doing the new place?

Jorge was a very personable guy and I'd like to say hello and try his food again if he is back.
