August 18, 201411 yr I am currently outside Thailand, but need to start paying above bills online. Been doing some searches and some threads mention needing to go to the True shops first to set up payments via bank. Is it possible to set up without doing this? Saw possibility of paying 3BB one year upfront for 8% discount. Is this possible with True? Cannot see on their website. Would direct debit be better? I am just wondering about reliability of Thai banks doing this. Or just set up to pay each bill monthly? I read that most (but not all) banks have the facility to do this with various companies. Each bank supporting different companies. e.g. K-Bank says can pay mobile phone, cable tv, credit card, insurance. SCB has Easy pay. Advice, opinions please.
August 18, 201411 yr I have a account with Bangkok Bank with Internet banking and pay my 3bb and truevision online every month, I set this up by adding them both to my list of bill payees so I could continue paying whilst out the country. In addition I signed up to online invoicing so I do not have to wait for snail mail, this was critical as at one point my true vision bills went missing for some months,
August 20, 201411 yr Author Further to my questions above. Can anyone please help? Looking on BKK Bank Bualuang pages to set up payments, it shows on "Popular Payment" option, various companies, inc several different TRUE options. Can anyone confirm the correct one for True Satellite TV is: Service Code DSTV..True Visions Public co.Ltd? For 3BB internet is: Service Code TripleT..3BB internet services? Also, can I set up One Time Password (OTP) from abroad? Would I need to activate "International Roaming" to receive any OTP's? Thanks.
