August 19, 201411 yr Hi, Read in the news that Thailand is Stopping Couples with a Surrogate Baby from Leaving the Country (Including 1 Travelling with the Surrogate Mother) My GF and I have recently had a Baby (1 Month Old) and we are both heading to Australia in a Few Days. Call me Paranoid but should I be worried about being Stopped even though our Baby is NOT a Surrogate. We have his Thai Passport, Thai Birth Certificate with my name as Father and her (Thai) Mothers as Mother. We have been in a Relationship for near 3 Years. Thx
August 20, 201411 yr The truth is probably nobody knows what would happen if an over cautious or over zealous Immigration Officer questioned you on departure. In reality I suspect that numerous children are leaving with their properly documented biological children every day, and don't face any problems. I would think that with the documentation you describe, you will be able to satisfy even the most inquisitive Immigration Officer that you, and your family, are totally legit. theoldgit
