Foreign engineer, footballers in Phetchburi monitored

BANGKOK: -- The Phetchaburi provincial public health office is closely monitoring a foreign engineer and four African Phetchaburi FC footballers for Ebola disease.


The office's Dr Prajak Wattanakul said the petroleum engineer had returned from working in Guinea.

The engineer, who is married to a Thai, has shown no symptoms of the Ebola virus. The doctor said four African footballers who play for Phetchaburi FC, were also being monitored but added he was not overly concerned as they had no returned home in recent months.

The disease has 21-day incubation period. Ebola epidemic is rapidly spreading in Africa and has killed up to 1,000 people so far.

LOL, maybe they are also pregnant ! What about Thais returning home ?
