Non-immigrant O visa changes?

Featured Replies

I have a current Non-immigrant O visa which expires on 4 November this year. In previous years, I have been able to extend this visa for an additional 90 days. But this time after I travelled to Mae Sai on the visa run, the expiry date in my passport and on the departure card were stamped in red. This has never happened before. I'm rather concerned at the possible implications of this change and I'm wondering whether a 90 day extension is now permitted.

Any help would be much appreciated

Roy

No rules have changed. Stamp color doesn't mean anything. You have not extended your visa, you have activated a further entry.

Per above, the colour has no meaning. You can make a border run as usual.
