August 22, 201411 yr Construction of new flyover will worsen traffic jamsTraffic jams are expected to worsen during construction of the more than 2,000 foot long Myaynigone flyover on Pyay Road, officials say. The flyover will be 2,132 feet long and 47 feet wide. Capital Development Company, which won the tender to construct the flyover this year, is now conducting soil tests at the site. Buses can still pass through the area, but once construction starts they will need to detour on Kyun Taw, Baho and University Avenue roads, an official from committee that oversees bus companies said. August 22, 201411 yr That is a lot more disruptive than the others that were done previously (Shwegondaing etc) - that detour sounds like a pain
August 22, 201411 yr Author I think Hledan had to be the worst. But I do agree that this will be just more misery for those in the Golden Valley area. If they're lucky they'll make them detour down Baho road.
