Popular Post schlog
Had to pick up friends today at the Marina Ao Po. Some time was left before we went to lunch at Peang Prai Restaurant next Bang Pae Waterfall. So we drove on one of the roads from the past. This one starts directly behind Supalai Resort at Ao Po on the left side up the hill. It was a great trip for them and also for me again to the Phuket roots. Drove nearly 20 min and only saw 2 cars but saw the scenic phang nga bay and jungle. Drive with open windows, play some old thai songs and enjoy what fantastic parts Phuket has to offer. After a great thai lunch with gibbon sound they called this area paradise. So maybe some of you also want to feel like them for 1-2h and escape the traffic...........

Guest
(ahem, after failing to find a forum rule which could help to get this thread down to keep the road secret, I guess I have to try to divert it.) The road you mentioned is my alternative 'home road' and it's very pretty. The Radi center looks like it's from some James Bond movie where old people delivered in and they come out as young ones after gene therapy. Another scenic route starts from Mission hotel going to the north. http://goo.gl/maps/hhwXS There is also couple of restaurants and a jetty with nice views around here http://goo.gl/maps/xFMLj
Guest
As mentioned few times before. For people who wish to find these kind of 'hidden' locations, try geocaching as it's great tool to get you to these places. There is one cache on the road OP mentioned.
