Vientiane in Laos issues double entry tourist visas.

Trying to live but i need to find work so i can get visa through that. just need some more time to look for work. i am in bangkok

Go to Vientiane in Laos and get a double entry visa.

That will give you 180 days.

He was writing about the total stay possible from the visa not the validity of the visa.

So how do you get 180 out of a double entry tourist visa?

Extend first 60 day entry by 30 days and then do a border run to use the 2nd entry prior the visas enter before date and then extend the 2nd 60 day entry by 30 days.

They only do 2 entry tourist visas.

Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane/Laos will issue, at least, 2 Double Entry for one passport.

In some cases 3 in a row, but than you will get the Red stamp and/or the warning, blue stamp, to show the next time, funds and proof of Residence.

The validity of Visas from Vientiane are 3 month from date of issue, means both entry must be used on or before the ENTER BEFORE date.

Each entry give you 60 days and can be extended at Thai Immigration by another 30 days.

For activation of the second entry you can join a border with us.

And you will be asked for paid, confirmed exit air tickets for all three entries.

Since that is not convenient for everybody, many do fine with double entry in e.g. Savannakhet Laos.
