Hello all,

I need to get a new passport pronto! I went to the British embassy website and it says that I need to book and appointment by an email that they provided...([email protected]) This is maybe a dumb questions BUT when I click on that link it just brings up Outlook and its all in Thai! I am confused. I have copied the link and posted it via my own personal email. I assume that will work...right????

I am a bit stressed and confused about this.

Thanks mate, but thats I think that wont work in my case. Here is my situation....please advise me if you can!!!

I had a Non B based on work. I went to my local immigration office to change it back to a NON O based on being married to a Thai national. I ended up getting a 2 month extension of stay based on 'visiting my spouse'??? I am awaiting the 400,000 in the bank to apply for a NON O. The lady at (Pathumtani) immigration told us that I would need to exit and reenter the country, by going to Cambodia???The problem is that i now only have 2 1/2 pages left in my passport!!! I dont know if thats enough!!! I dont like the sound of the waiting time for a new passport. Can I even travel on the old one if I have to?? I am confused as to what the heck to do?

Help!

If you can get an appointment within a reasonable time to make your passport application you could have about 2 months to get you passport back.

You cannot travel after they have received you passport in the UK.

The pages you have would be enough to go out and get a non-o visa but with only a half page left of stamps unless you went to Penang for it. The non-o would give 90 days plus you could get a 60 day extension.

Is there is any chance you can get the 400k baht in the bank for 60 days before November.

YES! It should be done within the next 2 - days!!! I am confused as hell about all this! Why do i need to leave the country? I WILL have 400,000 in a Thai bank in my name THIS WEEK!

Sorry mate, I really appreciate the help here. Getting a little stressed and confused.

If you have a non immigrant visa entry that you have extended for 60 days you can apply for your one year extension.

There is no reason you should have to leave the country.

Perhaps the officer thought you wanted another 60 day extension.

You can apply for your extension at immigration after your passport is cancelled electronically. It will just not be valid for travel
