I have left Thailand for Health Reason around a Year ago - I still have a lot of Things left in Thailand,

as I plan to return, once I feel better

I just skyped with a Friend today - and he told me, a lot of Things have changed since I left

for instant, something has changed in the Rules for Banking, regarding Foreigners

I still have an Account with Kasikorn and Bangkok Bank - and "some" Money is on these Accounts,

as I use 1 Account for the 800.000 Baht Retirement Visa Rule - and the other for Online Banking

and my Expenses, which I was regurlary poping up from my western Europe Bank Time ago

( I also have an EURO Account with Bangkok Bank ...)

Has anything changed, what I need to be concerned about?

Where can I find some Informations about these new Regulation?

what other News regarding my comming back to Thailand did I miss?

Thanks a lot in Advance for any Post

Well a lot has changed but maybe nothing for you to be concerned about.

For instance I don't think the visa rules based on retirements have changed and regarding your bank accounts, they're still open and valid.

I have an account with Krung Thai Bank which I haven't used for about 3 years. There was less than a 1000 baht balance on it and after a year of inactivity, they started withdrawing 250 baht per year, but if the balance is over 2000 baht, it should not expire.

In any case nothing to worry about.

Can't help any further without knowing your particular concerns.

Nothing has changed in Thailand during your absence.

The Bank accounts remain the same.

You have your 800K, so nothing to worry about (let the teachers worry about it)

There are still 3 seasons, Hot, Very Hot and Very, Very Hot.

The Mai Ben Rai culture is still here.

The Thais and farangs drive like lunatics on the roads.

There is always the innocent farang that will be scammed by his g/f, wife.

Girls are the same, always happy to serve you for pittance.

And the food is bloody spicy and hot as ever before.

Nothing to worry and come back soon.
