ED Visa - What plane ticket should i buy?

Hi all,

Just received my first ED visa at my home country.

I am wandering if buying a ticket with a return date in 1 year can be a problem with immigration, as the validity of the visa if for 3 month (without the potential extensions).

Will buying a return ticket in 3 month and later extending it will be a more safe option?

If you have a visa a return or onward ticket it not required.

If you have a visa, you don't need a return ticket.... It's a fact!

I entered the country on a new Ed visa last week one a one way ticket. No questions asked at immigration.
