Finished 1 year ed visa going home: 2 week extension possible

Featured Replies

I finished a one year ed visa. I want a 2 week holiday possible or just 7 days?

You can only get 7 days to leave after applying for a 7 days extension.

You could leave and re-enter to get a visa exempt entry if you qualify for it.

Thanks for the quick reply. Maybe I just head off earlier.

Just a quick question. I'm i eligible for a visa except I've only ever done one border hop 2 or three years ago

You can do a border run and get a visa exempt entry. They only count recent visa exempt entries.

Sorry to bother you Joe but your information seems the best. A friend if mine is getting married soon so I thought I might hang around. I don't want to waste a page in my passport on a tourist visa. If i do a border run is it 15 days or 30?

Thanks

You will only get 15 days for a visa exempt entry at a border unless you are from a G7 country who now get a 30 day day entry.

It is now possible to get a 30 day extension for a visa exempt entry if you needed more time.

Thanks great news I've got a british passport. I only need 20 more days. You should charge for your services.
