September 2, 201411 yr Richard Marx to stage concert in Myanmar American pop/rock singer Richard Marx is planning to stage a concert in Myanmar next year, according to Living Sound Entertainment. "We will hold his concert in Yangon. We are searching for sponsors now,” said Jaw Maran, an executive of the concert organising company. “We want to invite him because he is one of the top singers. To welcome a world-famous singer like him, we’ll need to survey many available stages. That’s why the concert will be held next year.” On July 8, Marx just released “Beautiful Goodbye”, his first studio album in 10 years. Now, the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter is on the road for a highly anticipated US tour. In the last few years Marx has also found time to write for other artists, most recently Keith Urban (with whom he scored Urban’s #1 smash “Long Hot Summer”), Jennifer Nettles, Sara Bareilles and the upcoming release by Vince Gill. Having sold over 30 million albums worldwide in his career life, Max had a number of popular hits in the 1980s and 1990s including "Right Here Waiting" and "Satisfied". http://www.elevenmyanmar.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7408:richard-marx-to-stage-concert-in-myanmar&catid=34:lifestyle&Itemid=357
