Ok thanks a lot,I meant apply not reply, sorry.

So I could apply on October 1st. or is that to short from from expiration date of the Visa?

You would normally apply during the last 30 days of your current permission to stay stamped in your passport, not the expiration date on the visa (must enter by date). Some offices allow you to apply 45 days early. If you are using the 800k bank deposit for proof of funds, it must be seasoned for 2 months. I would go as early as possible to be sure that you have all of the required documents and are not running around at the last minute.

I renewed my retirement extension of stay today at Chaeng Wattana 30 days in advance of the expiration date. I asked the immigration officer how far in advance can I apply for an retirement extension and she said up to 45 days....next year I'll probably do it in the 40 to 45 days in advance ballpark...earlier the better since you don't lose any extension time when renewing before the expiration date.
