pokerspiv
I thought the one at Choeng Mon was an eyesore.....all those in favour I can recommend Disneyland in Paris or Florida....I'm sure you will be very happy! It's not up to you though is it? Honestly mate, it's just a bouncy castle. It's not even a permanent fixture, it's no more an "eyesore" than a boat is. It's unbelievable how much of a big deal you guys are making about something that's really not a big deal in any shape or form. Yes of course mate....I want to take a picture of the early sunset over Choeng Mon with a fishing boat or yacht in the background or a bouncy castle? I will have a think about it. So everything has to stop or be moved just because you want to take a pretty pic which you can quite easily move slightly further and take, it's not that difficult...unless you wish to make it difficult of course! Of all the things that people could get so wound up about it's quite comical really to get offended by an inflatable thingy for kids to play on, dear oh dear oh dear, is this what some people have become? (rhetorical) . Bah humbug.....oh that's at christmas.....ha ha. It's hardly a world exclusive shocker! Of course kids should just get a bucket and spade and be dumped on the sand and be happy with it and god help anyone or anything that comes along to try something different so they can have a little bit of fun after making their 50th sandcastle in the last hour!, :-) Sometimes i really do think some people on here actually just deliberately look for something to get all flustered and angry and offended about.

thehelmsman
OP, Being Greek, I like swimming and spear gun fishing. How can you enjoy the sea when is full of jellyfish? Never been to Lamai Beach, but it doesn't sound very inviting for me. Why do you like so much Lamai Beach? It's an awful place, please stay away. No1Farang
These pics just give you some idea what Lamai Beach is like and an idea why some of us actually like it the way it is was. The jellyfish come and go. I think they have all gone now.

FACTOR
I'm sincerely not trying to one up anybody, but I was on Lamai Beach almost 30 years ago-- you should have seen it then.
