chappie1207 Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 At the end of August I went to Laos and got a 3 month Ed Visa, I have to report on the 25th November to Chaeng Whatthana to extend. My passport needed to be renewed which is currently underway in the UK. What documents do I need (UK Embassy etc) to take to immigration to transfer tge Ed visa to my new passport? ubonjoe Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 You will only need to a letter from the embassy. Immigration will not transfer a visa. They only transfer extension of stay stamps and make an annotation of the visa that you used for entry that gave you the permit to stay that has been extended, When you apply for the extension you can then have your stamps transferred.
