Mutsubishi Pajero Sport fuel consumption

Featured Replies

Hey guys, just want to compare Mutsubishi Pajero Sport diesel 2.5L consumption to someone else. Mine is doing like 550 km on full tank and I think its not a good figure, other diesel SUV's can do something like 650-700. Please share your experiences.

Where do you drive? City vs country driving is very different. I'd believe that figure around BKK and surrounding areas.

We have a 2011 4x4 2.5L PJS and it does 550 - 650km to a tank. Average is around 10km/L. 11 or 12 is possible on a gentle highway drive but 9 is also possible if driven harder. Our Fortuner does almost exactly the same mileage so I would be surprised if the other diesel SUV / PPVs did much better in the same conditions. However 2WD manual pickups will do better.

my truck gets about 15-17 on the highway but closer to 10 in Bangkok if I am lucky.

Maybe best to agree on same format of consumption.

2011 Fortuner, 9.5 L/ 100 km, Bangkok. 7.5 L / 100 km, highway, Cruise Control at 115km/h.

ok Stefan I agree - I get 15-17 kms per liter on the highway :)

I drive inside Phuket, sometimes on the high way North.
