Tourism Thailand Delays Tourist Entry Fee Amid Travel Concerns
If they think the reason numbers are low is a 300bht charge then they are insane. People numbers are down due to Thailand not being value for money anymore , exchange rate being awful , high flight costs , scams , overpriced hotels , bars and restaurants . Then if you add in some places being swamped with certain nationalities , that puts people off also. -

USA Bondi Holds Firm: No Change on Epstein Files Despite Trump’s Nod
This is becoming the entertainment event of the year so far. Trump is turning on his base who are simply inquiring minds, asking questions. That kind of behavior is strictly forbidden within MAGA, it would seem. Be obedient! Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this “bull——,” hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote Wednesday on his Truth Social site, using an expletive in his post. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.” Trump distanced himself from those who have criticized him, calling them “PAST supporters” who had “bought into this ‘bull<deleted>,’ hook, line, and sinker.” “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work,” he wrote, “don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” In doing so, Mr. Trump turned to an old playbook: attempting to reframe politically unfavorable issues as the work of Democrats and his political opponents. But the discontent over the Trump administration’s handling of the so-called Epstein files has stemmed from the right, and Democrats merely joined the fray after seeing a splintering of Mr. Trump’s MAGA supporters, many of whom feel betrayed. Far-right conspiracy theorist and podcaster Alex Jones called Trump’s handling of the Epstein situation “the biggest train wreck I’ve ever seen.” "It’s not in character for you to be acting like this,” he said in a video reacting to Trump on Tuesday evening calling the case boring. “I support you, but we built the movement you rode in on. You’re not the movement. You just surfed in on it.” His problem? That nothing-to-see-here approach doesn’t work for those who’ve learned from him they must not give up until the government’s deepest, darkest secrets are exposed. Last week, the Justice Department and the FBI abruptly walked back the notion there’s an Epstein client list of elites who participated in the wealthy New York financier’s trafficking of underage girls. Trump quickly defended Attorney General Pam Bondi and chided a reporter for daring to ask about the documents. “I don’t understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody.” he said. The post also highlights Mr. Trump’s longstanding belief that he can convince his followers of nearly anything without losing their support. -

Why do people want to live in Isaan?
Khon Kaen is ok. Never heard of that village. Udon is the best city. KK is spread out so not good for walking. -

Travel Chiang Mai Crowned Asia's Best City, Bangkok Shines in Third
Last weekend I stayed at a 3000 baht room in CNX and it was disappoinitng. The AC unit looked to be about 30 years old and was making this grinding noise all night. I turned it off. The breakfast was disappointing. The coffee machine brewed lukewarm lattes, the bread selection was stale and the service was lacking. I have stayed at 400 to 500 rooms in CNX and they have been basic only. Also, how many people go to Japan to get a cheap massage? There are attractions to the Land of the Rising Sun. The words cheap and massage are things visitors look for in Japan.- 1
