today Sep/11 went for my usual 90D, they gave me all my photocopies back, they photocopied my TM47 sheet, and handed it to me, and said on Dec bring TM47 and Passport only. They copied my the page on Passport with my last Arrival Card & Re-Entry Permit Stamp

Think that’s is correct, would also like to say I walked straight in onto the chair, zero waiting, first time in 12 years

Last time in august, Khon Kaen were asking for photocopies.... I hope it will change soon when they notice that other Immigration-officies do not ask for it...

.

Today at Nakon Pathom: Same old, same old. Don't take a number. Put PP and copies in basket at desk #2 marked "90 Day Reports". Sit down. Look TV.

After 20 mins., name is called and PP returned w/ receipt and reminder to report again in December inside.

'nuff said

Arrived at Chang Wattena today 11 Aug at 11:20 AM, filled out TM47 asked for Q # for 90 day report. Went to room for 90 reports 3 in Q ahead of me, gave girl my passport and TM47. She took old report out of passport put in new one typed info into computer was out of area total time 15 mins.

By the way they are having a "One Tambon, One Product" fair at CW till friday the 12th Aug , can get a lot of organic products, fine cloths and clothing and products from many different provinces there.

 Before your next 90-day report, buy a smartphone or a cheap calendar. You're probably a time traveler from last month's "One Tambon, One Product" fair. Getting your months right is essential in order not to overstay your visa.

The norm is only the TM47 and Passport is needed at most immigration offices. Not normal is asking for more than that.

FYI Phuket has done away with TM 47's completely and has done so for the last 6 months. They require copies of the Non Imm extension, PP ID, Departure Card and Entry stamp. Thai officers check and compare the ID and address info on the computer data base with the holders passport and if identical they print out the usual next 90 day notification paper and staple it into the users PP. There's one small printer between two officers.

Correct but if doing the 90 day reporting for the first time or after returning to Thailand you have to write your address on the first copy. (name page)

I just mail the damned thing every month. I comply with the regs and have never had a problem. As long as I don't go in, they can't surprise me by asking for something new. I keep my ass outta there except for my annual renewal visit.

I have never needed anything but my passport and the form stapled inside telling me when to report again.

Never spent more than two minutes in the chair, then on my way with a new date 90 days later to report again.

If I show up in the morning, there is no wait.

I have never had a problem and always been treated very well by the immigration officers where I report. ( Khorat )

I have seen others have problems, but always those with a bad attitude and a chip on their shoulder.
