is one of the child's parents thai?

i ask because you state the child is in a blue house book.

if thai then they are entitled to live here and do not require an extension of stay.

only if the child entered thailand on a foreign passport would you need to obtain an extension of stay for the child. in which case i believe you present their thai birth certificate plus blue book for their 12 month extension.

Hi Mario, I have an official letter and stamped by the amphur as me being the father. My uncertainties reside on the bottom portion of my post as and if they might be for every imm office now. If I was not clear, it is a support of Thai visa, and I am going for an Extension. All of the top matter listed I have.

Sems you have everything needed, just take that letter from the amphur instead of the divorce decree.

I think you can ignore the documents and photo's regarding school. If you have done it before, just take what you took before. Every office has its own particulairs. Jomtiem is strict on the lease contract, where CM might not be.

That is what I figured would do. I never take my child as he is in school, only the little woman, and we do live together always have, so there is no divorce decree. But did make me think when reading they want to see the kid(s) now. Only ever took him once and was asked why he was out of school. .Thank you very much.

For an extension based upon being the parent of a Thai according to clause 2.18 of the immigration order the money just has to be be in the bank. It does not have to be there for any number of days. But some immigration offices want it to be there for two months.
